What? Lil’ Wayne Was Raped at the Tender Age of 11?

(Per HipHopWired) While filming his new documentary “The Carter” which was produced by QD3 Wayne detailed how he was raped at the yound age of 11 by an “experienced” fellacio giver.

With his mentor and “Paw” Baby providing the fellacio giver and initiating the act while in plain view of several older crew members, Wayne revealed the tale of his first sexual encounter to Young Money artist Lil’ Twist, 15, which was “against his will.”

“I got raped when I was eleven, Twist. I loved it….I ain’t never pressed charges. I’mma do you like Baby and them did me…”

Check out the footage here.

*Sidenote:  Why is he calling it RAPE if he “loved it?” Did anyone else catch that?

I Wish iPhones Were Not Only Limited to AT&T – and Here’s Why …

(Per The Atlantic) Up to now, AT&T has blamed their bandwidth problem on the fact that iPhone users are data hogs. Their claim is that iPhone owners bring the network problems on themselves, because they use the devices too much. But news from Consumer Reports implies that the AT&T’s bandwidth problem might be broader than many thought.

All Things Digital provides information about the new survey from Consumer Reports. It says that, as expected, major markets like New York and San Francisco report AT&T as having the worst network and Verizon as having the best. That makes sense, because everyone took for granted that those regions have lots of heavy iPhone users to blame for their network congestion.

But it turns out that AT&T’s network scores the lowest even in less major markets where iPhones usage was thought to be lighter:

But to find that the carrier placed last in 17 other cities as well suggests that AT&T’s shortcomings are more widespread than the carrier would have us believe and not simply the product of a high concentration of iPhones in the country’s larger cities.

Meanwhile, Consumer Reports also finds that iPhone users are at the most satisfied smartphone owners. If you want to enjoy the iPhone, then you have to suffer through using the worst network. At least for now.

It’s hard to tell whether this news will bother Apple. They haven’t given much indication that they plan to change course regarding AT&T’s iPhone exclusivity in the U.S. And I guess, on some level, they don’t need to. I don’t know many iPhone users moving to other smartphones just because AT&T annoys them. For most, their love of the device is worth enduring their hatred of their network.

But from a customer service standpoint, this should bother Apple. A company that prides itself on making consumers happy should not be forcing them to use an inferior service provider. And as soon as other smartphones exhibit similar functionality to the iPhone, sales growth could begin to suffer.

———————————————————————————————————

I agree with the writer here, that from a customer standpoint, Apple SHOULD be bothered by AT&T’s limitations. Great service is always the key to maintaining and growing your customer base.  I am an iPhone user within the AT&T network and I love all the functionalities that my phone provides to supplement my lifestyle, but I hate when my calls drop in the middle of me telling or hearing an intense story. Or when I have no service in certain parts of town [when everyone else's phone is working perfectly fine].  Apple should really recosider their agreement with AT&T and maybe not limit their phones to only ONE provider.

Are You A TRUE MJ Fan? Would You Wear His DNA?

Spinner reports that Los Angeles-based My DNA Fragrance has collaborated with historical hair collector John Reznikoff to create M, a cologne that includes traces of Michael Jackson’s DNA, thanks to a space-age technology by which “DNA can be extracted from hair shafts with or without the follicle intact.”

At $60 for a three-ounce bottle, M—which is currently available by pre-order and will be available in select shops early next year—is a little pricey, but hey; isn’t it worth it to dab yourself with MJ’s essence? Plus, it comes in a silver bottle shaped like one of Jackson’s old outfits.

According to My DNA’s Web site, “Much like the performer himself, this cologne is unique and like no other cologne in the world.”

SMH … people these days.  They will try to make something out of nothing.  Not sure if this is good or bad for MJ.  On one hand, his death is putting money in the pockets of these Fragrance Freaks, and on the other hand - he is the first to have his DNA in a cologne which makes him pretty darn special.  What do you think? Is this honorable or exploitive? Would you buy a bottle of M? Or do you think it’s kinda creepy, like me?

Dude! So, I WAS RIGHT!

Yesterday I updated y’all that Jaimee Grubbs exposed herself as Tiger’s mistress.  I said that even though nothing has been proven yet, it was looking like Mr. Woods was guilty!  Looks like Tiger Woods has finally come clean. Sorta.

The golf legend—who’s been plagued by rumors of infidelity for the past week—wrote a post for his official Web site this morning titled “Tiger comments on current events,”

“I have let my family down and I regret those transgressions with all of my heart. I have not been true to my values and the behavior my family deserves. I am not without faults and I am far short of perfect. I am dealing with my behavior and personal failings behind closed doors with my family. Those feelings should be shared by us alone.”

You know, celebrities are people too and they go through the same things that everyone else goes through.  But I’ve never been a supporter of cheating … EVER.  ESPECIALLY if you are married with kids! I mean, we see men in the media cheating all the time like Kobe, Shaq, even our former president. Although the confession is wishy washy, I already know where it’s leading to. The news is not shocking … I just feel bad for his wife and kids.  I hope they get through this.
