Zewdy vs. Maxine – ‘Man Down’ Battle

So I am absolutely loving Rihanna’s most recent radio jam, ‘Man Down’. As I mentioned in an earlier post, I love how the song shows off her vocals more than her common club bangers. Her video was also dramatic and memorable. Anyway, I’ve been a big fan of YouTube Star, Zewdy (big curly hair, left) and she did an amazing rendition of ‘Man Down.’ After viewing her video about 3 times, I stumbled across another widely viewed ‘Man Down’ performance by yet another YouTuber, named Maxine.

I can’t seem to decide which video I like better. Who do you think brought their A game based on the videos below?

So I’m from the Chi and I know of so many local artists out here that are trying to make it big. There’s no doubt in my mind that Hot2Def aka Dat Boy Hot is going to be on your radio in a city near you =)

This man is so talented, naturally gifted. He can freestyle, make hits, and even …. DANCE! Hot is also very down to earth, cool as hell and funny as ever. If you ever want to support a good cause, Hot’s music is definitely a shoe in. Check out his latest single “Up and Down.” It’ll be stuck in your head … TRUST ME.

I’m not being biased either, look what all the other Chicago Industry people are saying about this man!

So I’ve decided to start a new chain of posts which displays talented folks on the ever so popular YOUTUBE! Come on, I know you all have seen a few videos where you are like, “Why aren’t they Famous Yet?”  Some of these people are seriously AMAZING!

My first video is of Erin from RinontheRox. She’s the Rin lol. I love both Erin and Roxie’s voices but I guess they recently decided to upload some solo videos for fun. Anywho, the video below will leave you, not speechless , but one-worded:  DAMN! I love “It Kills Me” by Melanie Fiona and Erin DEFINITELY killed it! She’s so cute and sweet which adds the cherry on top! Enjoy folks =)
