Alicia Keys filmed scenes for music video “Put it in a Love Song” featuring Beyonce Knowles recently in the Morro da Conceicao slum of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on Tuesday (February 9).
The song is from Alicia’s latest album. The Element of Freedom. Below are some snapshots of the songstress and Diva. Despite her supposedly ”stealing” Swizz Beats from Mashonda I think Alicia is a beautiful woman inside and out.

I love seeing celebrities use their fame and fortune to help out others and appreciate the not so glamorous achievements in life. Especially with kids – since they look up to celebrities – if they see their idols celebrating the importance of achieving positive things in life, it will motivate them to do well and be better.

The 2009 American Music Awards took place at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on November 22, 2009 in Los Angeles, California last night. The women of music came out looking stunning for the AMAs. My FAVORITE look was Rihanna’s dress. I loved the floral cut-outs and the silhouette of her dress. She definitely rocked it out last night!

Alicia Keys will be dropping an album during fourth quarter this year. She hasn’t made an official announcement yet, it will be released sometime in November. Alicia and her partner Kerry “Krucial” Brothers has been hard at work in the studio all year so it will be interesting to see if this album follows the same formula as the others. Her debut album “Songs In A Minor” sold over 12 million copies worldwide, followed by “Diary of Alicia Keys” and “As I am” that sold 8 million and 6 million respectively.
I love Alicia Keys. She seems like a down to earth girl. She’s beautiful, intelligent and talented. I can’t wait til the album drops!
