Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has made her first appearance on the set of Transformers III, after taking over from Megan Fox.
The Victoria’s Secret model kept her costume secretive as she wore a dressing gown and smoked a cigarette while waiting to film her scenes.
Her appointment as the main love interest in the film was only revealed last week, but she is already hard at work in Los Angeles.
The 23-year-old was up against stars including Gemma Arterton, Ashley Green and Zoe Salanda to take over after Megan resigned following the first two films.
Even Heidi Montag recorded a video audition in a bid to make it on to the big screen.
But it was inexperienced lingerie model, Rosie, who won the high-profile role – despite her only previous acting experience being a short promotional film for Agent Provocateur.
Although brief it was certainly memorable.
In it she played a wronged girlfriend whose boyfriend had forgotten Valentine’s Day.
She visited his office, tied him up, performed a striptease, then walked away, telling him ‘This will teach you to forget Valentine’s Day’.
Megan Fox’s departure from the franchise was not surprising as she ragged on her own director Michael Bay, as being ’a nightmare’ to work for’.
The 24-year-old, who played Mikaela Banes in the 2007 billion dollar blockbuster and this year’s sequel, insisted that it was her decision not to resume the role.
Transformers III is slated for release next year.
Rosie will be filming in Los Angeles for the next four weeks. It gives her ample time to see her new boyfriend Jason Statham, who lives in the city.
