“She’s constantly changing but she’s got these slight dimples.” Mario opens up about becoming a dad for the first time in the new issue of OK! and shares pictures of his new little girl, along with his girlfriend, Courtney Mazza.

“I’m still in that shocked, euphoric stage,” Mario explains of being a father. “Finding out the sex of the baby was the best surprise. I did a big betting pool and everyone was excited. I thought we were having a girl, and Courtney thought it was a boy.”

So does he have worries about being a first-time dad to Gia, born on Sept. 11? Not really!

“I come from a big, loud Mexican Catholic family,” Mario tells OK!. “My sister also has three kids, so I’m used to a bunch of babies [being] around.”

Just five days after the birth of Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett’s son, Hank Baskett IV, the tiny tyke is already making his big debut via the cover of OK!

“He’s a perfect baby,” the E! star tells the magazine. “I’m very, very happy.”

“I just said, ‘I love you so much.’ I couldn’t stop saying ‘I love you,’” recalls Hank upon first meeting him.

As for dealing with the nerves that came just before little Hank’s arrival?

“I ate a whole bunch of brownies,” says the new mom, adding with a laugh, “No wonder he’s 9 pounds!”

I actually watched the special episode of Kendra giving birth to her lil man on Sunday.  Hank and Kendra are soooooo cute together =] I kind of want them to stop doing reality tv so that they don’t get hit with the reality tv relationship break-up curse! They seem extremely in love and excited about their family and future together. Hank is a sweet guy and Kendra is so bubbly and silly. I know Hank got dropped from the Eagles and he’s currently a free agent now, but I seriously hope someone picks him up so that he can bring some bread home for the family.  Kendra had me crackin up when she mentioned that Hank Jr. had a big head like her and how she’s happy that she’s gonna get hips from giving childbirth! I totally felt her on the 2nd quote cuz I sure need some hips myself! Congrats!

Lou Sulola Samuel six weeks, is the first biological daughter for Heidi Klum and Seal. Big sister Leni is Heidi’s daughter from a previous relationship. Klum, 36, gave birth to Lou on October 9.

Seal, 46, posted photos of his little girl on his website at www.Seal.com. In the family portraits, baby Lou is shown with her mother, her father, and in one shot she’s surrounded by her three older siblings — Leni, 5, Henry, 4 and Johan, 3.

Christina Milian is pregnant with her first child, US Magazine has confirmed. The singer, 27, wed music producer The-Dream, 27, on Sept. 4 at the Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas. US first reported their engagement two months ago.

GirlTalk 24/7:  Ummm, Can you say CHUH-CHINGGG!! Looks wise, C. Milli Got it …. Success/Talent/Money wise … TEAM DREAM! I still don’t understand the mystery behind her whack career history.  How come she never blew up as a singer? I mean, she’s well known now because she is pretty/cute.  I liked her, but the fact that she was never able to bring her game to the next level turned me off … like, did you just give up?  Are you lazy? I mean WHY???? She has the looks and her voice is not bad.  I mean, she’s on the same vocal level as Ciara but Ciara managed to blow up!! Christina is gorgeous … I’m guessing she just had really bad luck in the game.  Well, I guess her luck turned around this year!  She doesn’t even need to worry about her career anymore … relative to her finances at least.

Kendra continued that she can’t wait to start decorating the nursery and “stocking his closet full of teeny-tiny Eagles jerseys (and Chargers ones too hahahahaha) We can’t wait to meet our son!!!!! Christmas Day and dirty diapers can’t come soon enough.”

Kendra first announced she was pregnant two months ago, just days before her June 27th wedding. The baby boy is due on Christmas Day.

Who wants to make a bet that Kendra’s son will become a professional athlete????

Kendra Wilkinson and husband Hank Baskett are expecting a baby boy on Christmas Day. “I just left the doctor’s office and I couldn’t wait another minute to tell you guys…Hank and I are having a baby boy!!!!!!! AHHHHH!!!!!! When the doctor told me I was just like, OH MY GOD, I’m going to have a son!!!!!! Today is certainly always going to be one of the most memorable days of my life! Whether this guy is a little jock or not, he’s definitely going to be a mama’s boy. And, there’s no doubt he’s going to be a handsome one…just look at his dad!” Kendra wrote on her blog.

We didn’t see this one coming - Kourtney Kardashian has confirmed to E! News that she is pregnant. Apparently she didn’t see it coming either, because she explained, “We were in the Everglades and I kept feeling nauseous and sick. I just kept thinking something wasn’t right…I went to the doctor and he confirmed the news. I was just so shocked.” Kourtney found out the news while wrapping her new show “Kourtney and Khloé Take Miami” that she stars in with her sister.

30-year-old Kourtney, the eldest Kardashian we’ve been keeping up with, has had an on-again, off-again relationship with Scott Disick, who she has confirmed is the father of her child. The baby is due around Christmas. We expect it will be born with a full head of the most gorgeous hair we’ve ever seen on an infant.

Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon, former co-star on the Jamie Foxx Show, made the baby news public during the Wendy Williams Show earlier this week.

“We saw each other Easter Sunday at a friend’s house and he came with his lovely daughter and he told me that he had a new baby,” the actress dished to Wendy Williams during a live telecast of her eponymous daily show. “I said, ‘Wow, Jamie do I know the baby mamma?’ and Jamie Foxx goes, ‘ No.’ Then I go (jokingly,) ‘Do you know the baby mama?’

Williams, who as a nationally-syndicated radio personality made headlines as a notorious gossip monger, didn’t let that tidbit go by easily during the interview.

“Wait a minute? Did we know that Jamie Foxx just had a new baby? Well thank you for the Hot Topic ticket,” she exclaimed.

I wonder who the mother is???????

It’s a baby boy for Jennifer Hudson and fiancé David Otunga. The couple, whose wedding plans are still unknown, welcomed the baby on Monday and named him David Daniel.  Baby David came in at a healthy 7 pounds, 14 ounces.

Hudson kept the details of the pregnancy private and never officially announced the pregnancy to the public, instead she just let her fans figure it out as she filled out. She also chose not to find out the sex of the child beforehand.

U.S. Baby Trend vs What I Know

I swear, I know so many women who have given birth to a baby girl within the past year or who are currently preggers with a baby girl now.  I spent some time trying to find some statistical data on baby birth trends in the U.S. and they all contradict what I see! Did you know that …

The CDC’s (Center for Disease Control) latest records show that every year from 1940 to 2002, an average of 91,685 more boys were born in the U.S. than girls.  There are plenty of folk tales about what determines a baby’s sex.  The CDC’s report does not get into that but it does list some factors related to the boy/girl ratio.  Looking at all the years combined:

  • Mother’s age:  ratio was lowest for women in their 40′s and highest for late teen moms.
  • Child’s birth order:  The more babies a woman has, the more likely she will have an equal amount of boys and girls, says the CDC.
  • Mother’s racial/ethnic background:  Chinese women had the highest ratio of boys to girls, for all years combined.  Filipino moms were a close second.  The lowest ratio of boys to girls were seen in black mothers and American Indian moms.

All of the above babies were born within one year ago, and the other mommies to be are currently pregnant! 6 out of 7 babies are girls – Wow!  So what do you think? Am I going crazy?  Do you think this 60 year old trend of more boys versus girls will continue once we reach the end of 2009?  What are your thoughts?  Are you seeing the same thing as me?
