Rihanna Visits Chelsea Lately

In between her tour stops down under, Rihanna paid a visit to “ The Chelsea Lately Show,” which happens to be filming in Australia this week. She had a serious case of the giggles as she talked about her birthday party and her current tour. They also discussed the lack of blacks in Australia, what it was like to work with Eminem and her nude Nivea Campaign. Check out some of Riri’s interview below.

On Loving Australia

I’ve been to Australia a few times before but for some reason this time, I’m actually starting to notice the real beauty in the city. I guess I’m staying in better hotels this year but my view is just insane. Every city I go to I’m just like “Oh My God, Australia is just so beautiful. I’m really love it….I’m enjoying my time here. Not to mention the shows are going really, really well.

On not seeing many black people

I can’t even front because every time I’m on stage and I see someone black….actually, you notice it. It’s like such a thing to notice because It’s really weird to see black people here. I know it has to do with the history of this country but it really is extraordinary when you see one. There usually, really, really, really dark, which is beautiful but you only see that here.

On Being Nude for Her Nivea Campaign

Pretty much nude but it’s all about skin, if it’s a skin product, how can I wear a long sleeve dress? You can’t even show what the product does if you don’t show your skin.

Ciara and Rihanna Beef on Twitter

It’s not often that celebrities say what they REALLY think of one another.

Rihanna and Ciara held nothing back as they embarked on a vicious war of words on Twitter.

The conflict started when Ciara claimed on the E! show, Fashion Police, that Rihanna had ignored her when they met at a party.

‘I ran into her recently at a party,’ she said on the E! show. She wasn’t the nicest. It’s crazy, because I’ve always loved and respected what she’s done in fashion. It wasn’t the most pleasant run-in.’

Rihanna was quick to respond, tweeting:

Then unfortunately, the fight turned into a fake kiss and make-up session …

WOW … Women! I feel like Ciara deserved what was coming to her since she publicly contributed to a negative image for Rihanna on tv. The best line that Rihanna tweeted was ‘Good luck with bookin that stage u speak of.’ lmao! At first I thought it was weak that Rihanna initiated the apology, but then I figured – she beat Ciara to the punch because it was in her best interest at the end of the day. She was accused of being shady by Ciara, she had to repent one way or another, right? Leave the twitter fight looking like the bigger woman. #Iguess.

Sneak Peek of Rihanna’s S&M Music Video

Rihanna released a sneak peek still from the set of her video for the upcoming single, S&M, that shows her dressed up in a Playboy bunny inspired costume.

The 22-year-old wears huge yellow rabbit ears, a white corset and black high heels in the frame, with newspaper headlines projected onto her.

She slips into a bright pink PVC dress in another frame while a third still shows her holding an ice cream cone while wearing a heart shaped eye patch.

The video was shot in Los Angeles and it seems Rihanna was rather pleased with the results.

‘[I] had a fantastic weekend shooting my best/favorite video EVER!’ she tweeted.

It was shot by Melina Matsoukas, who directed the singer’s video clips for Rudeboy, Rockstar 101 and Hard.

Matsoukas chimed in on Twitter too after the shoot, writing:

‘Recovering from a colourful wknd of S&M with a hot red headed chick and I get to call that work… I love this job.’

The song will be released on January 25.

This is How Jay-Z Brought in the New Year

The champagne was in full flow as Jay-Z hosted a New Year party in Las Vegas which was bubbling with some of the biggest stars in the entertainment industry. Joining the rapper was his wife Beyonce, along with Rihanna, Gwyneth Paltrow, her husband Chris Martin, Kanye West, Jennifer Lopez and Florence Welch.

The stars were out in force for the grand opening of The Cosmopolitan, a $3.9 billion hotel on the famous Strip. Following a gig, which included performances from Beyonce, Jay-Z, and Coldplay’s Chris, the celebs partied until the earlier hours at the Marquee Nightclub in the hotel.

Beyonce, 29, duetted with her 41-year-old husband to perform Forever Young and also teamed up with Chris to sing her hit Halo, wearing a stunning low-cut dress.

John Mayer also made a surprise appearance, playing guitar with Jay-Z on his song 99 Problems. Kanye West took over the DJ boot at 2.30am and was joined by Jay-Z as they sang Runaway followed by Monster. And not wanting to miss out, Rihanna performed her new track What’s My Name, looking glamorous in a red dress which matched her hair.

Rihanna is Sexy & Flirty in British GQ

Rihanna is on the cover of the January 2011 issue of British GQ Magazine. The shoot is very sexy; RiRi rocks lingerie, a blindfold and even licks whipped cream off of her fingers in one of the photos.

In the issue, Rihanna spoke about her relationship with Chris Brown and how she ended it.

She says:

“Sometimes when you’re on the inside of a relationship like that, you can’t see it clearly for what it is. I left – it was the best feeling. It was so freeing. I witnessed it happening to my mom and I said I would never let that happen to me – and then it was happening. Now, when I look back, it bugs me out that I couldn’t see it for what it was.”

She also added:

“Before that, I was just a little girl from the island, singing pop music. It was easy to think I didn’t have a problem in the world. Then all of a sudden, boom! Everybody realizes that I do have problems. It made me strong. It’s a moment in my life I wish would disappear. In my head, it’s gone. I have too much pride, I’d never let anyone see me cry. I don’t want you to remember me for that.”

Last night, Rihanna joined Nicki Minaj on stage to perform “Fly” for the first time at Hot 97′s special Thanksgiving Concert. Rihanna’s unexpectedly grabbed Nicki Minaj’s assets before leaving the stage – in Nicki’s words, “she’s the only one that can get away with it.” Watch the performance and the booty grab below!

Rihanna continues her “loud” theme of bright colors on the cover of the latest issue of Interview Magazine. Inside, she is interviewed by Kanye West, who probes her on everything from whether she would like to have children soon to being a sex symbol to both genders.

Here’s a taste of the interview below:

Kanye: How does it feel to know that you could have any man in the world. Or woman. How does it feel to know that you can turn straight women gay?

Rihanna: Is that a real question?

Kanye: Yeah.

Rihanna: Well … Thank you. I don’t know how to feel about that. I guess that’s flattering.

The singer appears in a series of seductive shots for the cover artwork of her new album, Loud, including posing topless and even without pants!
